Transform Your Relationship with Pain

Support for Understanding, Calming, and Rewiring the Pain Response

Living with chronic pain can be exhausting, confusing, and isolating.

You may have tried many treatments. You may feel frustrated that nothing has fully resolved it. You may feel disconnected from your body or unsure who to trust.

Chronic pain coaching is designed to help you understand what is happening in your nervous system, reduce fear and reactivity, and build practical tools that restore a sense of safety and control.

Pain is not a sign that you are broken. Often, it is a sign that your nervous system has learned to stay in protection mode. The good news is that the nervous system can change.

Through education, somatic tools, and steady guidance, we work together to shift the pain response from constant alarm toward regulation and resilience.

You do not have to navigate chronic pain alone.
Support is available, and change is possible.

Chronic pain can narrow your world. Coaching helps you gradually expand it again with safety and steadiness.

If you are unsure which package is right for you, begin with a discovery call. We will discuss your history, goals, and determine the best next step.

How Chronic Pain Coaching Is Different

Chronic pain often involves nervous system sensitization. Over time, the brain and body can become highly protective, interpreting normal sensations as threat.

This does not mean your pain is imaginary. It means your system has adapted.

When we understand how pain works, we reduce fear.
When we reduce fear, we reduce reactivity.
When reactivity lowers, the body begins to feel safer.

Coaching focuses on helping you rebuild that sense of safety step by step.

Chronic pain coaching specifically addresses:

  • Persistent pain patterns

  • Fear and avoidance cycles

  • Nervous system dysregulation

  • Flare management

  • Brain-body communication

  • Emotional and stress-based pain amplification

We combine science-informed pain education with somatic practices, breathwork, emotional mapping, and gradual reintroduction of safe movement.

This approach supports you in working with your body rather than fighting against it.

What We Work On

Chronic pain is rarely just physical. It involves the nervous system, stress response, emotions, movement patterns, and the stories we carry about our bodies.

Our work addresses the full picture. While every plan is personalized, most clients focus on the following areas:

Pain Education

Understanding why pain persists and how neuroplasticity allows change.

Nervous System Regulation

Calming the stress response and increasing parasympathetic activation.

Fear and Tension Reduction

Reducing hypervigilance and protective bracing patterns.

Flare Response Tools

Developing clear strategies for managing flare-ups without spiraling.

Somatic Awareness

Rebuilding trust with your body through guided practices.

Gradual Movement Integration

Reintroducing safe movement in a structured, supported way.

Our Chronic Pain Coaching is designed to be collaborative, science-informed, and deeply supportive.

Whether you are seeking 1:1 guidance or a structured pathway toward lasting change, I am here to help you better understand your pain, calm your nervous system, and rebuild trust in your body.

Sessions are available in-person in Portland, OR or virtually for those seeking remote support.
